City of Kings
Windhelm, the City of Kings. You can experience some of the coldest harshest nights here, but sometimes the view is worth it.

  1. Oh thank you! High Fantasy has been one of the least submitted categories, so I am grateful for submissions, especially good ones.

    1. Cool. I may stand a chance in that category then. After seeing a bunch of great submission so far, I'm definitely up against some strong competition. :)

  3. Um, wow! Hundreds of hours in Skyrim and I've never seen the sky like that before, in Windhelm or anywhere. Is it a mod?

    1. Oh yes, I've heavily modified Skyrim. I believe that one was Climates of Tamriel.

  4. absolutely stunning!

I'm really glad to see this, as I have similar (unmodded) shot from a very early playthrough and was wondering about it, as I've never seen it since! It's here ( http://www.anook.com/picture/31950 ) if you're interested - it's nowhere near as stunning as yours though :)

    1. Oh wow. I thought that was mostly the modding that gave that, but it looks like it's built into the game. It looks like the mods only just needed to help it. Bethesda did a really good job building the game. Really like yours as well.

  5. Oh I'm a sucker for the Northern Lights.. the amount of Northern Lights shots I nabbed in Skyrim is unreal.

    1. I love them as well. I even have a shooting star mod, but could never catch any showers. :(
